Let’s Get Social

Social networks are amazing! They have allowed me to connect with some amazing and influential people. Most of which I would have never connected with or even known about had it not been for Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

For those not-so-social beings, it’s still a great way to see what’s out there and not have to really communicate on a personal level.

Today’s post is to help spread the social love. If you’re not already connected with me, here’s how you can do it!

Facebook

My facebook fan page is the place I post all my recent work. I always link my latest blog posts on this page and occasionally pop some questions for my fans to chime in on. Sometimes I even post images from my shoots. My clients are free to tag themselves in the images but I always ask for them to mind their copyright etiquette…no cropping, distorting, altering or printing the the tag images without written permission please!

This morning,I went to my fan page to get this image and realized I was up to 1,215 fans! Pretty cool cause my birthday is 12/15. Maybe today is my lucky day!

If you’re not already a fan, I’d love to see your smiling face pop up on my fan list! Click the image below to go to my page and click the ‘like’ button!

Twitter

I must admit, I’m not a big tweeter. I hardly ever tweet on a personal level. But it is worth mentioning here as all my Facebook Fan Page updates are directly linked to my twitter account. So if your more of a Tweeter and a Facebooker, go ahead and click the picture below to follow me on Twitter!

Pinterest

Ah! The wonderful world of Pinterest! Mostly for the us creative types, this network is by far my favorite these days! I can spend hours pinning! My goal over the next few months is to use my Pinterest account to the best of my ability. I will be spending some time organizing boards so that my clients can interact with  me as we think up concepts for our shoots! I will be making posing boards, wardrobe boards, mood boards, color boards and much, much more! So if you’re already an avid ‘Pinner’, be sure to follow me! If you’re not sure what the Pinterest hype is all about, send me a message and I’ll send you an invite so we can get you pinning pronto!

~Or you can follow my photography board only

~and here’s something cool for some of my clients. These are random pins from other Pinterest users that have pinned directly from my blog. Some of your sessions proved to be Pinterest hits! They’ve been pinned and repinned hundreds of times!

Formspring

I set up a Formspring account a long time ago. Formspring is a little place on the web where you can ask questions. I admittedly hardly ever use it but it is there none-the-less. If you have a burning questions, that’s a good place to ask it! Photography questions, business questions or maybe you just want to know what I ate for breakfast…you can be you or ask anonymously by clicking below!

RSS

You can stay up to date the good old fashion way and subscribe via RSS feed by clicking the ‘subscribe’ button way up top in the blog header!

See you on the web!

P.S. You can always say ‘hi’ in the comments below. Sometimes it’s nice to know people are out there reading and that I’m not just rambling into cyberspace. I’m a guilty of blog stalking sometimes too, but I’m trying to make it a point to say ‘hey’ when I’ve visited someones page lately. It only seems right. I wouldn’t show up to someones house and sit there in silence, that would be weird. So if you’ve visited someone’s blog today, let them know!

Miss ‘K’ Boudoir Session

I get so excited when I get to share a boudoir session! I  mean REALLY REALLY excited!

Here’s why: Everyone gets to see just how GORGEOUS my clients are!!!!

Really! I mean it! Every. Single. One. Of. Them….GORGEOUS!

But most of the time due to their jobs or personal reasons I have to keep the images all to myself. It’s torture.

The lovely Miss ‘K’ has been awesome enough to let me share!

Here’s what she had to say about her Boudoir Experience…..

Why did you decide to do a boudoir session with Nicole Cassano Photography?
-I saw an ad about it on Facebook and I had done my research on other photographers. Nicole had the best value.  I saw the pictures from her past photoshoots and I fell in love with them and I knew I had to do it!

Describe your experience:
~ What did you like the most? – I loved the location, and the tips! Nicole gives you great tips for your first time, helps you with poses, faces, everything. So if you’re thinking about doing something like this, go with Nicole. She’s the best!!
~Was the session what you anticipated? – It was better than I anticipated. I wasn’t expecting to have as great of a time as I did. I figured I’d have a good time. But I didn’t think I’d have a fantastic time!!
~ What surprised you the most? – How easy it was to get into it, I never thought that I could get into having my picture taken like that, and love it. I have tried it before with a different photographer and the experience was terrible. I never wanted to try it again, but I took a risk and I”m so glad I did it!

How did you feel at the end of your session? – I felt happy, excited and anxious to see the results! I had such a great time!

Describe the emotions you felt when you saw your images? -When I saw them I instantly thought WOW!! I didn’t know I could look like this! All the pictures turned out great. It was very hard to pick out the pictures for the book, I wanted them all!

What would you tell to a friend who’s thinking about booking a session with Nicole?
I would say definitely do it! It is 100% worth it. Nicole makes you feel so comfortable and makes the time spent soooo much fun! I would definitely do it again!

And as a bonus:
What was your significant other’s reaction to the images when you gave them
to him?

-He loved them! He said it was the best gift he’s ever gotten…ever!
